Each team has a different focus, but shares the same values and culture when it comes to encouraging proactive individuals to take on new challenges, and learn and grow.As a Software Engineer, you will be working on products with millions of customers and incredibly high throughput; addressing challenges around performance and scalability; understanding the dependencies affected by changes you make; creating SDKs and having autonomy to make decisions that will further the business.You will be a Software Engineer who has experience developing frontend services, using tools and technologies such as React / React Native (or similar frameworks) and TypeScript.Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Creating highly available and scalable frontend applications
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and advocate for and implement improvements on projects
  • Leverage customer insights/data to inform decisions, balancing value for the customer with other business goals
  • Ask questions and contribute to new ideas/approaches
  • Focusing on operational excellence (leaving things better than when you found them)
  • Actively participating in sprint ceremonies like daily huddles, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospective
  • Engaging in code reviews and pair-programming

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience developing mainly frontend applications (or fullstack!) with React, React Native, TypeScript, Node.JS or similar (Angular/Vue)
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Experience ideally across mobile and web applications with regular releases
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (we use AWS) would be an advantage but not essential
