As the Software Solutions Analyst, you will participate in the assessment of OIT’s portfolio of vendor technologies, analysis of remediation options, development efforts, change management, and approval from campus users. In collaboration with campus colleagues, you will provide technical assistance to examine, improve, and design IT systems and processes. You will also update applications, troubleshoot issues, and test security, performance, and solutions with an additional focus on accessibility measures and standards.
This position is part of Princeton’s Office of Informational Technology (OIT) Summer Experience Program. OIT is excited to welcome a cohort of undergraduate students to learn, explore, and gain professional experience in a variety of technical and administrative roles. All positions are sponsored by one of the six major departments within OIT, each specializing in a different area of information technology.
This is a temporary position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assessing the use of different applications in the OIT portfolio of Software as a Service (SaaS) applications and any accessibility implications across use cases
- Gathering existing information pertaining to vendor remediation efforts to enable changes to the applications and platforms
- Unit testing
- Coordinating user groups to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Documentation and change management
