Summary of Job Duties:
The Software Support Analyst will ensure that software developed by the Biomedical Informatics department meets the needs and standards of research by developing testing documentation, implementing software testing, and writing and maintaining standard operating procedures. This position requires strong technical documentation skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, technical writing, communications, computer science or equivalent. At least three (3) years of work experience that involves the gathering and documenting technical requirements and/or developing standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Gathers and document software requirements
• Develops test plans and implement software testing
• Clearly map technical requirements to documents reviewed by external auditors
• Software validation testing
• Develops standard operating procedures for software/systems life cycle (particularly for clinical trial data management)
