This role offers the opportunity to build upon your experience within a busy company commercial department and you will join a supportive and collaborative law firm that encourages individuals to explore and develop their career.The Company & Commercial team advise a range of clients, including companies, partnerships, sole-traders and start-ups and they pride themselves on gaining a deep understanding of their client’s businesses and aspirations. Upon joining the team, your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Dealing with the sale and purchase of businesses
• Preparing and assessing contracts and agreements
• Handling mergers, acquisitions and partnerships
• Assessing risks in business transactions and notifying compliance teams of any issues
• Representing businesses in court or alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Providing general legal advice on various matters, such as IP, employment and regulatory compliance
