Job OverviewThe Solutions Director Project Professional Services (PPS) will primarily be responsible for the growth in the value of projects delivered on existing Mitie customer accounts and for supporting bid activity for new and retained contracts on a national basis.Main DutiesThis role involves owning the strategy for PPS and acting as the owner for business development activity across the PPS portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Mitie products, services and propositions with particular reference to project delivery capabilities and value propositions.
Supporting the Mitie FM sales and bid team as a project delivery subject matter expert.
Supporting the development of complex win strategies for bids and sales projects providing an SME focus.
Supporting the Projects Client Development Directors in building a visible pipeline of new business opportunities and enhancements.
Developing and implementing a programme to build relationships with key stakeholders and potential customers.
Working with the PPS project directors to generate holistic solutions that address client needs and differentiate Mitie from competitors to include leading solution design and developing commercial content for on-account opportunities and tenders.
Working with the Projects Centre of Excellence to integrate emerging digital and AI solutions into PPS value propositions.
Supporting the PPS project directors in resolving live project delivery issues.
Achieving set objectives and financial targets.
Track and report progress against current and future opportunities to support business reporting activities.
Promoting a positive customer-oriented culture.
What we are looking for
Ideally experience working at Solutions Director, Account Director level in a project delivery organisation
Ability to identify, analyse and engage credibly with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels within their respective organisations
Impeccable communication skills with the ability to shape and hone a message to meet the needs of the target audience
Able to deliver results in matrix environment
Strong experience in developing detailed business cases selling and closing these deals with customers with a robust record of successfully delivered services and projects evidenced by continued repeat business
Commercially experienced working within corporate governance and sign off environments
Entrepreneurial in a corporate environment
Able to develop high level programme plans for multi-year investments
Proven experience in speaking at industry forums and being part of industry bodies
Technically experienced with a graduate level knowledge of the built environment
Capable of passing Central Government Security Clearance (SC) vetting
