Why choose our Client?Just under an hour from London, our client is a charming hotel in the beautiful Surrey countryside, just outside of Leatherhead.Featuring a newly refurbished restaurant, the hotel offers diners a selection of tasty British gastro pub style dishes to enjoy whilst looking out over the manicured gardens and are able to cater for C&B for up to 150 covers including weddings.What’s involved?As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, co-ordinating service, offering guidance to junior chefs and running the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence. You will also ensure the whole kitchen team has high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety at all times.You will be passionate about offering good quality food, will have a good eye for detail when it comes to presentation and will be able to work under pressure. You will be a team player, able to work as a part of the kitchen brigade striving to deliver great food promptly, and will assist with the training of more junior chefs, where required.You will prepare, cook and present dishes to the highest standard, and will be able to work in all sections of the kitchen.Staff accommodation is available with this position, should you be relocating from outside of the area.Sound like the role for you?
