The Intensive Family Support (IFS) program is an intensive, time-limited case management support service. Through prevention, treatment, research, education, and advocacy, we are committed to helping keep kids safe, heal from trauma and lead happy lives.

About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Specialist Domestic and Family Violence Practitioner to provide specialist advice and recommendations to colleagues and clients.
- Full time opportunity.
- This role is government funded until 30 June 2027, with possibility for extension.
- Level 5 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $93,860– $98,112 plus super.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an outreach model of complex family case-management programs to families, caregivers, and kids.
- Assess referrals into the IFS to screen for domestic and family violence.
- Undertake risk assessments where domestic and family violence is identified.
About You
- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, human services).
- Professional registration (if required) and membership of a relevant professional association (desirable).
- At least five (5) years’ working in a domestic and family violence capacity.
- Ability to engage, empower and build strong working relationships with a diverse range of clients, stakeholders, partners, and colleagues.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
