Job description

ENDA-Pronat’s central mission is to scale up agroecological change in Senegal and the West African region. It pursues this through political dialog and the development of multi-stakeholder partnerships at local, national and international level, as well as by advising and qualifying family farms for the agroecologically motivated intensification of land use.  At the same time, ENDA Pronat sees the agroecological movement as an opportunity for social inclusion and improved youth employment in rural areas and along the value chain of local and regional markets.

Your Tasks

  • Strengthening capacities in the selection, use and evaluation of collaborative tools and approaches, with a particular focus on the impact on youth employment and gender equality
  • Supporting coherent strategic and operational planning for the development of scaling processes for agroecological transformation
  • Supporting M+E processes in the implementation of scaling measures in the region
  • Contributing to the exchange of experience and national and international networking with network partners.

Your profile

  • University degree in agricultural or social sciences or a comparable field of study with relevance to environmental and agroecological transformation processes
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in a context-relevant field of work in agroecological transformation
  • Several years of experience in strategic organizational consulting for NGOs, ideally in Francophone sub-Saharan Africa
  • Proven ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and networks as well as very good communication skills using digital media and tools
  • Motivation and willingness to perform results-oriented work in intercultural teams and under deadline pressure   
  • Very good knowledge of French and English, knowledge of West African language would be an advantage
