What the role entails

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with line management, particularly the Group Manager – Families & New Beginnings, to lead the service design, implementation, and ongoing continuous improvement of practice across all Families & New Beginnings programs and teams.
  • Participating in and leading a range of activities which result in the development of an impact led culture, including the development and implementation of practice resources.
  • Supporting a range of evaluative and portfolio project activities that support evidence-based approaches to the work of specialist homelessness providers.
  • Supporting a range of practitioners, leaders, students, consumers, and volunteers to participate in the goals of continuous quality improvement.
  • Supporting the leadership of Homelessness Solutions & Impact to implement and embed key practice frameworks, policies, and procedures across Launch Housing.

What we’re looking for (Key Selection Criteria)

  • Have some experience working in a client facing human services role with a preference for an understanding of housing and homelessness policy, context and systems (desired).
  • Have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others towards effective client outcomes and exercising skills in engaging with stakeholders.
  • Be able to collaborate with purpose, focused on solutions and able to prioritize and manage available resources to greatest effect within overall resource limits.
  • Have demonstrated high level writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the values of Launch Housing and our mission to end homelessness.
