Applications are invited for the substantive post listed above.You will join a close-knit team of Paediatricians working in a community setting based in a variety of locations across Fife. Community Child health services in Fife work closely with colleagues in acute services in a 24 bedded in-patient ward located in the recently built wing of the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.You would be expected to contribute to multi-agency, multi-disciplinary assessment of children with neurodevelopmental difficulties. The Community Paediatric Service is supported by an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and a team of ADHD nurses including nurse prescribers. You will be expected to contribute to the child protection rota for within hours child protection assessments.Applicants for the specialty doctor post must be on the GMC register.
