Speech & Language Intervention SupportCover People are currently recruiting for a Speech and Language Intervention Support Assistant for a full-time role in a Primary School in M14, to start ASAP.The RoleThis post is to deliver Speech and language targeted interventions. The role will be full time 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday – Friday. You would be working under the guidance of the SENDCO and working with individuals/pairs and small groups to help support pupils with speech and language difficulties. The ideal person for this role will have experience working with Speech and Language and delivering successful interventions previously, however training will be provided.You must be child-centered in your approach and have the motivation and ability to work with children who may not relate well to conventional teaching methods and to find connections to engage the harder to reach children. There is a strong emphasis on the nurture and care of our children combined with a significant focus on their emotional and mental health and wellbeing.The candidate must have:

• 6 months experience working with children
• Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN / Speech and Language
• Previous experience running interventions with SEN pupils
• Excellent communication skills
• DBS on update register
• References for last 2 years work history
• Up to date CV
