- Base Salary: $119,028 – $125,794 (p.a.)
- Total Effective Package: $143,636 – $152,931 (p.a.)*

About the role
The Speech Pathologist – Clinical Lead is responsible for providing assessment and therapeutic support to Aboriginal children aged 0-18 referred to CYATS’ multidisciplinary team (MDT) with suspected neurodevelopmental delays/disorders.
The Speech Pathologist (SP) – Clinical Lead provides strategic and clinical leadership and training to SP clinicians, SP students completing supervised practice, and professional clinical advice to other CYATS clinicians as required.
To be considered for this position, you will require:
- Full registration as Speech Pathologist as recognised by Speech Pathology Australia with demonstrated experience in a senior Speech Pathologist role including the provision of clinical supervision to Speech Pathologist colleagues and Speech Pathologist students.
- Knowledge of child development, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders including FASD, ASD and Global Developmental Disorders.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in providing clinical case management to support vulnerable families with complex issues, that is child focussed, family centred and trauma-informed.
- Proven skills in the assessment and therapeutic intervention for a range of childhood disabilities including physical, cognitive and emotional development.
