Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Grade 1 or 2 Speech Pathologist to join our NDIS Childhood Intervention Services team and make a difference to the lives of children and their families!
As the successful Speech Pathologist, you will work collaboratively with a large multi-disciplinary and like-minded team along with supportive management. This role will involve you working closely with families, childcare, Kindergartens, PSFO Officers, and school staff.
A typical day will involve working with children and their families, to deliver best practice speech pathology interventions to support child development.
Based at our Ferntree Gully site (and working across Knox, Maroondah and the Yarra Ranges), you will provide assessment and intervention for children with developmental delay or disability (0-7 years of age) and build the capacity of families to support their child’s development. Services to children and families are typically delivered in the family home, childcare, kindergarten and/or school setting.

Qualifications
In addition to a self-directed passion and drive to support children within the community, you will:
- Hold a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility to join Speech Pathology Australia
- Thrive in environments that allow you to form positive relationships with children and families
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development
- Have a high level of communication skills to communicate effectively with clients and families
