About the role
This position is part of the Paediatric Allied Health service – an integrated, multi-disciplinary team that consists of occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dieticians, physiotherapists, podiatrists, psychologists, art therapists and allied health assistants. The team supports families and delivers evidenced based, goal directed therapies to children under 18 years of age.
Duties
You will provide assessment and management of a diverse caseload of paediatric clients. Services are delivered in both private and public models and are funded from a range of sources including Medicare, NDIS. Therapy is provided in both individual and group formats with support from a large team including Allied Health Assistants, Key Worker and dedicated paediatric administration. There is also opportunity for project work to increase the health outcomes of developmentally vulnerable children.
Qualifications
A relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia is required.
