Spring 2025 Legal Externships at Earthjustice 

Earthjustice is the premier nonprofit environmental law organization. We take on the biggest, most precedent-setting cases across the country. We partner with thousands of groups, supporters, individuals, and communities to engage in the critical environmental issues of our time and bring about positive change. The following teams are accepting applications from law students for part- and full-time spring 2025 legal externships. These roles typically start in January and are completed by early-May. We are seeking externs who share a passion for justice and a healthy environment, and who can receive academic credit from their law schools or fulfill a graduation requirement for their work with Earthjustice.

Be sure to read through the job descriptions carefully as instructions and qualifications differ. Students are welcome to apply to as many externships as they’d like.  

The deadline to apply for all spring 2025 legal externships is 5:00pm PT on August 14, 2024, via our Jobvite portal. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications will be reviewed beginning August 15 with offers extended no later than October 11.
