Supervisor (Technical): The incumbent is reporting to the Chief of Staff Care and Wellbeing Division (HQA)
Responsibilities
In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures the incumbent: 1. In direct coordination with Project Coordinator Staff Care, develops the overall framework of Staff Care in Field in collaboration with Staff care team in HQ on project planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation and reporting. 2. Coordinates staff care activities with relevant departments and staff care counsellors in supporting staff and their dependents; prepares relevant proposals, work plans and detailed budgets; establishes contacts and liaises with other stakeholders; represents and actively participates in humanitarian coordination for staff care. 3. Oversees and executes the monitoring and evaluation of staff care activities in the field. 4. In coordination with HQ A, coordinates the preparation of emergency programme reports; prepares reports and ensures timely submission; checks the quality of data produced; develops TORs for monitoring and evaluation activities. 5. Coordinates the implementation of mechanisms, related processes, and procedures to ensure that departments and programmes respond to feedback in effective and timely manner. 6. Organizes regular communications on staff care with relevant programme departments, HQ, HR, Administration, and other wellbeing stakeholders, including organizing meetings and workshops; facilitates logistics arrangements; ensures recruitment processes are conducted in a timely manner. 7. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Work Experience

Conditions of service Type of Contract: Limited Duration Contract (LDC), Band “F”. The Limited Duration Contract applies to external candidates and UNRWA internal candidates on LDC. Duration of Contract: One year- with the possibility of further extension, subject to the availability of funds, satisfactory performance and continuing need. Grade & Salary: LDC- Band F monthly basic salary ranges JOD (1,213.30) Other Benefits: Other benefits include compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave pro-rated to the duration of the contract where less than one year, and family allowance (if applicable). As per paragraph 72 of PD A/4/Part II/Section II/Rev.8, secondment of area staff to LDC posts is no longer permitted, area staff still be able to apply to LDC posts, but they will not be allowed to assume such posts through secondment; they need to leave their current posts to accept such appointment.
