Job description

Every night, we support 200 women and children impacted by homelessness, domestic violence and systemic disadvantage. We do this by providing material aid, case management, biopsychosocial support, accommodation, and crisis responses. Equally, we seek to address the underlying causes of gender based violence through primary prevention activities with communities that want to be a part of the global movement to end gender based violence in a generation.
THE ROLE
The aim of the Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) program is to prevent women and children becoming homeless and having to move away from their home, support systems and community following experiences of family and domestic violence (FDV).

You will work collaboratively with women, children and families in our Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) who are experiencing FDV. The role will work in partnership with WAGEC’s other programs, and a variety of local external agencies to build and maintain the program. - Proactively and positively contribute to WAGEC’s culture and impact.
