STE4 ExaminerAn opportunity to join an established consultancy firm specializing in rail infrastructure, safety, and engineering services across the UK. The company is known for its expertise in various aspects of railway infrastructure, including site investigations, civil engineering, rail training, compliance, and track security.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company that is renowned for its expertise in the rail sector.This role is open nationwide.The key requirements for this STE4 Examiner role are:

• Prepare Task Briefing Sheets and assess their relevance when arriving at sites to be examined.
• Ensure pre-prepared Safe System of Work (SSOW) is appropriate and ready before starting any examinations.
• Conduct site inspections following industry standards and promote safe working practices.
• Capture clear and accurate photographs to be included in examination reports.
• Communicate the status of each inspection to the project management team upon completion.
• Prepare detailed reports based on the required format for each specific contract.
• Produce thorough survey reports and provide assessments of existing rail structures in line with industry standards.
• Support management with the preparation of asset inspection tenders and quotations.

Skills and qualifications required for this STE4 Examiner role are:

• Full UK manual (gearbox) driving licence.
• STE4 Certification.
• Personal Track Safety (PTS) qualification.
• At least 2 years’ experience in rail infrastructure examinations, inspections, and report writing.
• Strong IT skills and experience with report generation.
