Stewardship Coordinator
Job Title: Stewardship Coordinator
Salary Range: $40,000 to $50,000 annually, depending on experience
Classification: Full-time, salaried, exempt

Reports to: Conservation Programs Manager
Supervises: N/A – but may serve as a work leader to interns/volunteers

Work Schedule: Field based, with limited remote work allowed during the winter months

Our Mission
Walloon Lake Association and Conservancy (WLAC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations whose mission is to deliver Walloon Lake, a place where people and nature thrive, to the next generations through the power or conservation. WLAC has a robust water stewardship program and has permanently protected over 2,300 acres of land with 54 nature preserves, 20 conservation easements on private land and 25 miles of natural surface trails.
Position Summary
The Stewardship Coordinator plays a critical role in stewarding land and water in the Walloon Lake watershed. The incumbent in this field-based position will steward WLAC’s 54 nature preserves, 25 miles of trail and engage in water quality programming on Walloon Lake and its tributaries, in cooperation with Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council.
