Stewardship Intern

Delaware Highlands Conservancy, headquartered in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania, is an accredited land trust dedicated to conserving the forests, farmland, clean waters, and wildlife habitat of the Upper Delaware River region for present and future generations and to foster environmental stewardship through community engagement. This region encompasses Sullivan and Delaware Counties, New York and Pike and Wayne Counties, Pennsylvania. Established in 1994, the Conservancy has helped to protect more than 19,000 acres throughout the region.

The Conservancy is seeking a Stewardship Intern to work with our Stewardship Coordinator to monitor and steward our conservation easements in New York and Pennsylvania.

The internship is a temporary part-time position paying $15.00 per hour with mileage reimbursement and involves 288 hours (approximately 8-10 weeks) of field and office work generally in the summer months. The position does not include housing.
