- Position: Strategic Communications and Engagement Manager
- Industry: Social, Community, Home Care, and Disability Services
- Salary: Level 8, based on experience
- Hours: Part-time to full-time (3-5 days per week negotiable)
- Contract: Fixed term (2 years) with potential for permanency (funding permitting)
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the charge in coordinating communications and engagement efforts, spearheading campaigns, projects, public relations, and media initiatives essential for advancing our mission and vision.
About Us:
Court Network is a leading organisation dedicated to providing a team of volunteers who offer non-legal support and assistance to individuals navigating the justice system. Our role is to empower and increase the confidence of court users in managing the requirements of the courts.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate external communications, engagement, advocacy, marketing, media, and public relations.
- Lead efforts to elevate the profile, influence, and reputation of Court Network.
- Develop creative strategies to communicate and promote our impactful work.
- Drive implementation of communication and engagement campaigns.
What You’ll Bring:
- A relevant qualification in public relations, marketing, digital communications, or journalism
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in PR or corporate communications, preferably in the not-for-profit sector
- Strong understanding of the Australian government and media landscapes
- Proven ability to cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, government officials, corporate partners, and media outlets to amplify organisational influence
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder and project management, including successful execution of engagement campaigns
- Exceptional writing skills, capable of seamlessly transitioning between various communication platforms including engagement, media, and brand management
