The Strategic Communications Lead reports directly to the Strategic Communications Manager and works in close partnership with all Social Marketing & Communications teams to deliver effective, strategic social marketing campaigns and communications projects.

In this varied role, you will lead on developing and implementing social marketing campaigns, including specific behaviour change interventions. You’ll take a systems-based approach and work alongside multiple teams.

You’ll contribute to all quarterly and annual planning and reporting of strategic objectives and marketing and communication activities.

We are looking for someone with demonstrated knowledge and experience with behavioural change theories.

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time

Classification: VicHealth Grade D

Remuneration: $93,176 – 115,917 (plus superannuation and other benefits)

Qualifications and experience required

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Behavioural Science or similar area
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Excellent planning, organising, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in data analysis, monitoring and reporting
  • Experience using Google Analytics, CMS, and social media for work purposes
  • Understanding of SEO
  • Experience working within the communications, public health, community or government sectors preferred.
