EURELECTRIC – Union of the Electricity Industry

The Union of the Electricity Industry – Eurelectric is the sector association which represents the common interests of the electricity industry at pan-European level, plus its affiliates and associates on several other continents. We currently have over 34 full members, representing the electricity industry in 32 European countries.

As intern, you will:

• Write weekly in-depth newsletters for our LinkedIn readership;
• Coordinate the newsletter service dedicated to Eurelectric members;
• Prepare first drafts for op-eds, news pieces & SEO articles;
• Proofread policy papers;
• Support the team with any ad-hoc communication tasks related to campaigns, projects, events, media etc.

Requirements and competencies:

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, European Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Energy/Climate Studies or another relevant field;
• Team player with a pro-active/dynamic personality, eager to learn;
• Proven interest in the essential role that electricity will play for Europe’s decarbonisation, energy security and competitiveness a plus;
• Full literacy in WordPress, Mailchimp, social media posting a plus;
• Native English or equivalent.

Eurelectric offers a paid internship.

Base allowance as per contract for professional integration (CIP).
