Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Engineering Intern to be based in Seattle, Washington .

This position is expected to begin in Summer 2024.

Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.

  • Candidate must have completed 2 years of study in their program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous relevant internship experience.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as exposure to construction-based computer programs.

  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

  • Relocation assistance may be available for this position.

  • As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a substance abuse test.

  • Offered rate of compensation (Washington locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $21 – $29/hr.
