JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The College of Education is seeking an accomplished candidate to play a pivotal role in advancing the mission of the Office of Education & Social Equity (OESE) and the various programs housed under the unit. This position places a strong emphasis on fostering equity, inclusion, and social justice, aligning closely with the Anti-Racist mission of the College of Education at Penn State. Leveraging their professional expertise, the successful applicant will support the multifaceted OESE role encompassing the development, provision, and evaluation of processes, programs, and services. This position will support the Director of Office of Education and Social Equity (OESE) in forming the Summer College Opportunity Program in Education (S.C.O.P.E.). Duties can include but are not limited to supporting the director with marketing, admissions, enrollment, academic offering, and student affairs operations of the program. The primary focus, yet not exclusively, will be on undergraduate students from underrepresented/underserved groups, recognizing their vital contribution to the diversity of Penn State’s student body.
Typically requires a master’s degree or higher an education or social science related discipline plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
