About the Role

The Student Experience Project Manager will lead a range of projects with colleagues across the university to enhance the student experience. The role will be proactive in leading initiatives and starting projects, and reactive in picking up issues that arise outside the directorate and being the lead contact from the Student Experience directorate. The post will support the Director of Student Experience in dealing with strategic priorities and emerging issues and support the Student Experience Leadership Team in developing the project plan for one of the key priorities of the Directorate Plan: Leading the delivery of the best student experience in the Russell Group.

This is a fixed-term role for 12 months.

You will be an outgoing, confident, and proactive individual who enjoys working on projects with some degree of autonomy, collaborating with colleagues and reporting regularly on progress. You will be comfortable discussing ideas and challenging norms and always have the experience of students in your focus. 

About the Directorate

The Student Experience directorate is made up of a number of teams delivering a wide variety of functions to the university. More than this though, the directorate supports many university wide processes and services, working with colleagues and students from across faculties, schools, institutes, professional services departments and the students’ union, to deliver the optimal student experience and support the university to achieve its strategic goals. This role will manage a number of projects and processes that are led or delivered outside the directorate or in collaboration with others that have a significant impact on the university.
