Preferred Education/Experience Experience:
– Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers
– Proficient in phone etiquette and able to handle customer inquiries over the phone
– Multilingual skills, particularly English and Spanish, are a plus
– Basic math skills for handling financial transactions accurately
– Proven ability to meet sales targets and goals
– Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Summary You must be a current UK student to apply to this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right products, handling financial transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Strong customer service skills, phone etiquette, and basic math skills are essential for this role. If you are a motivated individual with excellent time management skills and a passion for sales, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
– Assist customers in finding and purchasing the right products
– Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
– Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
– Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
– Keep the store clean and organized
– Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels
