About The Role
We are now looking to recruit an Administrator to join our Student Support team. You will work closely with the other teams to ensure that students get high quality support and advice throughout their university experience. The Student Support Administrator plays a key and central role in the day-to-day administrative support for this multi-disciplinary Support team.
You will be dedicated to student retention, engagement, achievement and satisfaction by enabling students to develop the skills and knowledge to manage challenges and fully participate in student life.

About You
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively to a wide variety of people. You will be highly organised with a commitment to supporting service effectiveness and relevant experience of working in further or higher education, or a support environment. You will possess the ability to demonstrate personal resilience when responding effectively to sensitive and difficult situations.
We would like to hear from candidates who can also offer the following:
- Experience of providing administrative support and co-ordination to a team of busy professional staff
- Experience of writing accurate and comprehensive reports and keeping contemporaneous notes.
- Very strong personal organisation and ability to support others’ work through providing coordination and administration.
- Complete commitment to maintain high standards of customer care.

This position is offered on fixed term to 31 July 2024, part time, 18.75 hours per week contract, ideally working Monday to Friday.
Due to the nature of this role, you will also be required to undergo a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
