Position Description:


The EHS Student Assistant is designated to assist in the implementation and maintenance of the chemical inventory system at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). The Student Assistant works in close collaboration with the Director of Environmental Health & Assistant Chemical Hygiene Officer. The research lab and office space is approximately 500,000 square feet over 6 building sites with about 3000 faculty and staff directly involved in research activities. The research environment includes expanding research facilities and is one of the top academic medical centers in the country. 


Preferred Schedule:


M-F 8-5


Position Requirements:

Candidates must be current students working toward a B.S., M.S., or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Safety, or other science/life science concentration.  The successful candidate will be well organized, familiar with chemicals, chemical safety, and computer applications.

Students must be able to provide independent transportation to and from MCW, and legally authorized to work in the United States.
