We are committed to building a team of curious, conscious individuals dedicated to showing up, standing together, and being the difference between a good day and a great day.We are currently searching for a Studio Manager to join the team on a 12 Month Maternity Contract.This is an exciting opportunity for a Studio Manager to join the business as part of the Brand Marketing division. You will perform an integral role for the Ecommerce and Wholesale functions of the business, overseeing the process of creating and managing ecommerce imagery and web-ready visual content as well as assisting with specific visual needs as they arise.The main responsibilities of this role include arranging seasonal shoots, retouching, booking photographic teams and casting as well as sustaining relationships with photographers and agencies. This role also manages the logistics of samples and production-flow of garments in collaboration with Wholesale, Production and Merchandising teams.With a keen eye for organisation and image, the Studio Manager ensures the smooth flow of digital assets, guaranteeing that shoots are executed to the highest standards and meet launch deadlines. Budget management is a key aspect of the role, involving monthly planning across shoot schedules and vendor outputs.We are looking for someone who will be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end production of image output, liaising with collaborators to deliver imagery to the highest standard
  • Managing the set-up, administration, pre-production, post- production and logistics of photo shoots
  • Working closely with the Belstaff Senior Art Director and Brand Director to align on the creative vision for the season and ensuring that ecommerce direction has synergy with campaign creative
  • Ensuring all third parties are aligned and updated with the new creative vision for the season
  • Managing all seasonal model casting alongside the Senior Producer, with approval of Brand Director
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with photographic and video suppliers, ensuring that best value is secured and quality of work output is maintained and bettered when shot trends and technologies evolve
  • Presenting annual budget breakdown to the Brand Director and finance department
  • Maintaining a continuous budget tracker, reconciling invoices by period against set budget
  • Managing and creating the seasonal shoot tracker and critical path
  • Owning the seasonal shoot schedule, incorporating the multiple conflicting priorities, channel requirements, sample availability, and multi-channel deadlines
  • Coordinating samples; preparing and communicating shoot schedules and timing plans in sync with the content and creative calendars
  • Managing and maintaining high standards of retouching by clear communication with the third party retouching team (and your own retouching knowledge)
  • Delivering photographic requirements cross channel, by category – seeking out and coordinating the seasonal business needs. Identifying opportunities to avoid duplication of files and save on time and budget
  • Managing usage rights and negotiating by channel and territory securing highest possible exposure to cost and risk
  • Using comprehensive knowledge of copyrights legislation on usage rights and seeking updated rules that govern usages to ensure the companies practices meets these standards
  • Ensuring up-to-date charting of external suppliers’ usability and attributes, continuing to seek, question and test other sources for better facilities and costs including testing alternate suppliers for better deals and usability
  • Working on ad hoc projects as necessary that sit outside of the daily work stream

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong ecommerce and production experience from previous roles in luxury fashion
  • Experienced in producing best-in-class Ecommerce photography
  • Understanding of all digital photographic formats
  • Detailed understanding of full Adobe suite
  • High value sample management experience
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • A good agents contact book for model casting and photographers
