  • Remuneration: Total remuneration range: $105,466 to $114,196 pa (HEW6) (inclusive of $89,120 to $96,497 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Study Plan Specialist to join Student Administration, Student Services and Wellbeing, Administrative Division.

The Study Plan team delivers first class curriculum management services that recognise and meet the needs of a range of stakeholders. The Study Plan Specialist has a key role in the team and delivering student administration activities which support the student lifecycle.
The position will suggest and implement improvements and work cooperatively with colleagues from across the University in resolving student issues.

The Student Administration department makes a key contribution to the delivery of student services that span the student lifecycle: admission, enrolment, billing and invoicing, timetable management and class registration, examinations, results, records management, progression and graduation. The department supports international, domestic and research higher degree students, in collaboration with specialist service partners across the university..

What you need to succeed

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of degree with subsequent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to work independently and as a productive member of a team, proactively plan and manage workload within competing priorities to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to display initiative, contribute new ideas, evaluate current systems and processes and contribute to ongoing improvements in the provision of services.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate, develop strong working relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse client and stakeholder group across a range of mediums.
  • Demonstrated digital literacy including the ability to use a large corporate computer system to input, access, extract and interpret data, as well as experience in using spreadsheets and other software applications.
