Styling and Aesthetics Trainer – Mosul

Within the framework of the Art for Peace (A4P): Youth Leading the Peace, Recovery, and Development in Mosul project, implemented by Aid Gate Organization (AGO) and funded by OMOANA, a specialized training in styling and aesthetics will be conducted.

The training aims to Empower youth to develop personal and professional styling skills. Enhance creativity and confidence in beauty, grooming, and aesthetic presentation. Provide practical knowledge for career development in fashion, personal care, and related industries.

Responsibilities

Styling & Aesthetics Instruction

 Teach foundational and advanced styling techniques, including hair, makeup, skincare, and personal grooming.

Cover cinematic makeup techniques used in film, photography, and stage, including:

• Character and special effect makeup
• Period and thematic makeup
• Camera-ready makeup for different lighting and camera angles

Teach wardrobe planning, color coordination, and personal styling principles.

Provide practical demonstrations and hands-on sessions.

Offer constructive feedback to participants to improve skills and confidence.

 

Creative & Personal Development

Encourage self-expression through styling and aesthetics.

Guide participants in developing a personal style that reflects their identity.

Support confidence-building and professional presentation skills.

 

Program Development & Training Delivery

 

Prepare the curriculum, training materials, and visual aids.

Conduct pre/post assessments to evaluate participant progress.

Plan and manage daily practical and theoretical sessions.

Mentor participants through practical styling projects and exercises.

 

Operational Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, organized, and hygienic training environment.

Support final presentation sessions or styling showcases for participants’ work.

 Community Engagement & Inclusion

Adapt training to meet the needs of diverse participants.

Respect local culture and traditions in styling and aesthetics practices.

 

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

 Track participant skill development and creative progress.

Collect feedback and document outcomes of the training.

Provide reports with attendance, participant performance, and final project results.

Training Preparation & Delivery

The trainer should prepare the curriculum and training materials with presentations.

 

Qualifications of Styling & Aesthetics Trainer

• Proven experience delivering styling, beauty, or aesthetics workshops.
• Strong practical knowledge in makeup, hair, skincare, and personal styling.
• Portfolio of previous work or training projects in aesthetics and fashion.
• Ability to engage participants of different ages and skill levels.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and facilitation skills.
• Degree or professional certification in aesthetics, fashion, beauty, or related fields is preferred.
