We owe our success to our employees’ passion for innovation, as well as their commitment and initiative.For permanent employment OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for aSubcontractor Manager (m/f/d)Your TasksAs the responsible subcontractor manager, your main task is to ensure the supply of the satellite programs with complex subcontractor equipment and subsystems. This includes in detail the following work contents:
• Participation in contract drafting and actively leading negotiations
• Leading the supplier and managing the essential reviews at the supplier during the contract period
• Monitoring suppliers, including ensuring compliance with specified cost frameworks, quality standards, work instructions and deadlines
• Evaluating supplier performance and initiating and following up on necessary measures
• Coordinating and leading selection committees of suitable suppliers, taking into account project-specific requirements and historical performance
• Coordination and negotiation of contract amendments
• Supporting the project management in risk management, in particular risk minimization with regard to the supplier.
• Support of tender campaignsYour Qualifications• Preferably completed engineering studies, if applicable industrial engineering studies or studies of economic sciences
• Several years of professional experience in the field of “Procurement Management” / „Subcontractor Management“, ideally in the aerospace industry
• A high technical affinity
• High motivation, commitment and sense of responsibility
• Strong communication skills
• Confident behavior towards customers, suppliers and subcontractors
• Excellent conceptual and analytical skills
