Broad Function
The Summer Camp Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the effective operation of PEEC’s Day Camp and Overnight Camp, and other year-round user groups as assigned. This position promotes a positive image for PEEC through professional leadership and supervision of staff, knowledge of PEEC’s activities and the ability to communicate PEEC’s vision and mission.

Summer Camp Manager Responsibilities
The Summer Camp Manager serves as the “face” of all summer camp programming to assure quality, customer service, and a consistent point of contact.
Desired Experience
The ideal candidate may come from a background in camp or environmental education programming, preferably showing progressively increasing experience in planning, development, and leadership. Critical to success will be a passion for PEEC’s mission and a capacity to complete projects both independently and with co-workers, and to prioritize hands-on camp and education experiences. The ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining a consistent work ethic is essential to be successful in this role.
Compensation
This is a regular, full-time, exempt position Annual salary of $31,000, along with on-site room and board. Additional benefits include accrued paid sick and vacation time off, 75% employer-paid medical/dental/ vision insurance, 403(B) program (with employer match of 7.5%), short-term disability, and life insurance.
Position Start Date
The start date of this position is flexible, but the applicant should be available to start on April 1, 2025.
