tendersglobal.net

YVSC is accepting applications for their summer internship program! This position is 12 weeks, paid $15/hour for 15-20 hours per week, and includes some evenings/weekends for events, but typically operates on a self-made schedule within the M-F/9am-5pm work week.

The goal of the YVSC Internship Program is to connect motivated students and young professionals with training and experience that puts them on track to sustainability professions or collaborations in the future.

This program brings interns into collaboration with YVSC staff and engages them in our programs addressing sustainability issues in the Yampa Valley, while providing them with training and on-the-ground experience in nonprofit work. Using a project-based approach, participants apply what they learn through the internship to contribute to, expand on or develop a meaningful environmental project within our community.

Intern Expectations:

  • Have a reliable vehicle or means of transportation.
  • Are a college student or recent graduate.
  • Have access to housing in the Steamboat area for the duration of the program.
  • Have access to a laptop or computer.
  • Are able to dedicate a minimum of 15 hours per week to their project or other YVSC endeavors.
  • No experience required! Just a willingness to learn and dedication to the work and mission at YVSC.
