About the Role
Camp Shalom Summer Staff are the heart of our ministry. Staff members serve as leaders, role models, and encouragers for campers while helping create a safe, Christ-centered, and fun camp experience. This role is ideal for individuals who love Jesus, enjoy working with kids, and want to spend their summer serving others outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Build positive, caring relationships with campers and fellow staff
- Lead or assist with cabin groups and daily camp activities
- Help plan and lead games, worship, Bible studies, and special programs
- Supervise campers and ensure their physical, emotional, and spiritual safety
- Model Christ-like behavior in words and actions
- Assist with daily camp operations, setup, cleanup, and special events
