We are hiring a Supply and Inventory Analyst, for our client CRC Evans, a leader in coating and welding services.Position to be based in Burnley, UKJob Profile:
Working within the Supply Chain / Warehouse functions supporting the development of robust systems for inventory control and efficient processing (sales orders, work orders, cycle counts, etc).
Building strong relationships with the wider supply chain and project teams, in order to maximise efficiency of stock movements within the warehouse area and to feed global project sites.
Maintenance of all SKU related master data.
Working closely with the Engineering Dept, creating, maintaining, updating bills of materials.
Supporting the NPI process (New Product Introduction).
Sharing and supporting best practice for Warehouse transformation.
Supporting the Directional Flow of the organisation’s materials and products.
Reporting Opportunity / Risk, E&O, Working Capital Turns, Trends etc to key stakeholders.
Demand planning – responsible for executing the demand planning process.
Analysing trends, reviewing forecast exceptions and being accountable for creating a robust demand plan to maximise service and minimise cost.
Understanding and becoming an expert on stocking policy and product life cycle management.
Ensuring inventory exceptions are reviewed routinely and appropriate action taken to maximise stock outs and obsolete stock.
Accountable for executing the monthly stock and pallet forecast.
Analysing inventory changes and providing recommendations to achieve stock targets, reduce overstocks and improve inventory days.
Leading projects for continuous improvements and support the Supply Chain Manager on other projects providing key data for input to formal improvement projects.
Identifying improvement opportunities and driving process changes.
Identifying and resolving gaps within the ERP and forecasting system and run periodic audits.
Monthly reporting across the supply chain developing reports/dashboards for the department.
Requirements:
Good general education including GCSE in Math’s and English grade A-C.
Demonstrable experience of working in similar stock/material control and/or inventory management role/s.
Excellent problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions.
Good communicator.
Capable of working unsupervised.
Extensive knowledge of SAP.
Supply Chain Accreditation (APICS) – not essential.
Numeracy skills and experience with Microsoft outlook, excel and word.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to develop collaborative relationships across multiple functions within an organisation.
