How can you make a difference?
Supply and Logistics Specialist reports to the Supply Chain Manager (Health) as per the Country Office (CO) set-up and is responsible for supporting the Manager in managing the supply chains of a large sized health program and emergency response operations. The supply chain operations include planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, in country transport and distribution, as well as monitoring of supplies and services for health programmes. The incumbent collaborates closely within Health and Supply colleagues as well as government, Service Providers and donors as required to meet the health programmatic needs and achieve results for children.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
An advanced university degree (Master’s) is required in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health or related social science field.
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting, administration and/or other directly related technical fields is required.
A first level University Degree (Bachelor’s) in a relevant technical field (as identified above), in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting, administration and/or other directly related technical field combined with 2 additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree.
Health supply chain management experience an advantage.
Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
