Your New Role:

As the Supply Centre Administrative Officer, you will ensure merchandise and incoming orders are dispatched effectively to enable the efficient operation of the Supply Centre and work with volunteers and other stakeholders to promote an efficient service.

You will:

  • Print email orders for the Supply Centre
  • Arrange incoming orders and ensure they are attended to in urgency and date order.
  • Assist with stock take of the resource and merchandise items.
  • Ensure that the internal invoices are raised at the end of each month with Accounts
  • Issue Welfare cards according to urgency and date order.
  • Upload and activate Welfare cards when instructed to so.
  • Maintain good relationships with other bodies and stakeholders who interact with the Society and its clients.
  • Work with other staff in a manner that encourages teamwork and a commitment to an overall positive organisational culture.
  • Communicate to the Coordinator any observations that may affect the operation of the service.
  • Perform other related duties as may be requested from time to time.
  • Display a positive attitude and enthusiasm, working in a collaborative manner with all stakeholders.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative procedures.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated time management with the capacity to be self-motivating.
  • Commitment to maintain a high standard of WHS practices in the workplace.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people in an inclusive manner.
