Job Overview:
Under the supervision of the Greece RAI Director, this position will oversee warehousing, fleet, assets and facility contracting and maintenance aspects of supply chain for programs in Athens, Lesvos and Thessaloniki. The Supply Chain Manager will provide technical oversight, management and capacity building for these logistics functions in Athens and Lesvos.

Major Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Procurement:
- Ensure strict adherence to procurement policies implemented by the Procurement team.
- Develop and supervise procurement plans for all programs, ensuring their successful implementation.
- Maintain and review procurement reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Supply Chain (GSC) and Integra teams to ensure alignment with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.
Asset Management
- Implement robust asset tracking procedures to ensure the proper management of IRC assets.
- Take accountability for the successful release and tracking of assets from storage.
- Conduct quarterly physical checks of assets and prepare comprehensive asset reports for review.
Staff Management:
- Foster a culture of excellence in human resource management, supporting the development, promotion, and retention of a motivated team.
- Identify staffing and skill gaps and take proactive measures to fill them, including recruitment and providing day-to-day supervision.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support staff development and growth.
- Implement a progressive approach for staff management, ensuring structured growth and development.
Admin:
- Support SC staff with all facility management day to day tasks.
- Ensure Travel is properly handled.
- Accurately organize the office to meet department needs.
- Ensure any IRC properties are regularly cleaned and maintained correctly including servicing, repairs and installations.
Other:
- Focal point for audits related to SC.
- Review and provide feedback on budgets.
- Support the drafting of new projects by providing technical advice and expertise.
Job Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A degree or professional certification in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field (strongly preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience managing large multi-site supply chain operations, preferably within an international non-governmental organization (INGO) setting.
- Demonstrated excellence in training and capacity-building of specialist and non-specialist staff in Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in writing narrative and analytical reports using MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Access, and related programs.
- Strong planning, prioritization, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
- The ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet time-sensitive targets
- Willingness to put in extra hours and travel to field sites as required.
- A focus on understanding interconnected processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Greek is advantageous.
Work Environment and Duration of Appointment:
This position is a leave cover from Aug’24 to Mar’25. The working arrangements include a mix of in-person and hybrid work, with 1-2 days per week working remotely.
