Under the direct supervision ofthe Supply Chain Officer, the Supply Chain Volunteer is responsible forsupporting the Supply Chain Manager in delivery of all supply chain functionsin Nairobi office.

Specific Responsibilities:

Procurement and Logistics:

• Understand, implement and maintainIRC standard procurement policies and procedures.
• Ensure that procurement is carriedout in accordance to IRC and donor-specific polices
• Receive and update in BvA systemall fully authorized Purchase Requests in timely manner.
• Obtain quotations from suppliersby preparing and submitting Request for Quotations (RFQs) or Requests forProposals (RFPs)
• Monitor supplier performance andfollow-up with suppliers on quality issues and timely delivery of goods.
• Ensure that all supplies, servicesand equipment required are delivered on time.
• Establish and maintenance ethical,professional working relationships with suppliers.
• Utilize the online Integra systemfor Procurement tracking and documentation through workflow.
• Provide a timely response tofield/requestor with an acknowledgement or an update.
• Filling/uploading procurementdocuments in Supply chain back up folder.
• Preparing service and casualcontracts.
• Following up with the ClearingAgent on all KRA, customs Department documents
• Maintain vendor/supplier files asper integra requirements.
• Implementation of currentprocurement SOPs

Other duties/responsibilities

• Proactively provide feedback andupdates to requesters on their requests within 48hrs.
• Perform other duties, asappropriate or requested by Supply Chain Coordinator/Supply Chainmanager/Supply Chain Officer
• Any other duties Assigned.
