SUPPLY OF MEDICAL CONSUMABLES FOR VMMC & ZACH
SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
This Request is issued to solicit competitive quotations from LOCALLY ZIMBABWEAN REGISTERED qualified and eligible suppliers for the supply and delivery of medical consumables required to support implementation of the ZACH and Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) programmes.
These programmes provide essential clinical and preventive health services across multiple healthcare facilities in Zimbabwe. The consumables to be procured are critical for routine medical procedures, infection prevention and control (IPC), and general facility operations.
Given the clinical nature of the end use, all products must be:
- Fit for intended medical purpose
- Compliant with applicable regulatory requirements
- Manufactured under certified quality management systems
The procurement aims to ensure:
