Mercy Community Services supports and inspires people in need to live healthy lives within inclusive communities. Our services span the continuum of aged care, from home care to respite and believe a big part of what we do is to help our clients flourish. We are presently looking for the right people to support our residents as part of the team at our facility in Nudgee.
As a Support Services Worker you will have the opportunity to work across our food, housekeeping and laundry services. Your focus will be to support and empower our residents to have the best quality of life, with delicious healthy food, a clean and hygienic room and clean clothing.
$25.35 per hour plus penalties plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging available
What you’ll be doing
Food Services:
- Preparing food and beverages for residents
- Ensuring residents preferences and dietary requirements are noted
- Serving and delivering meals
- Cleaning and maintaining the dining areas
Housekeeping and laundry:
- Collect and deliver residents personal laundry
- Sort laundry and load into washing machines
- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility, including residents’ rooms and common areas
About you
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Experience in a similar role
