About the Role
The Support Worker will join the core support team and will deliver community outreach and individualised core and capacity support services to Richmond Fellowship Queensland (RFQ) National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants. This includes but is not limited to supporting NDIS clients to work towards their specified goals and assist with communication and providing support to attend medical appointments, NDIS reviews, community activities and daily tasks of daily living.

Qualifications and Skills
- A Diploma or Certificate IV in a human services related field or less formal qualifications with demonstrated previous experience working with people with mental illness
- A positive attitude towards those who are marginalised and disadvantaged living with mental health challenges.
- Experience in working with vulnerable and disadvantaged persons
- Life and work skills that is transferable to the role
- A strong sense of professional boundaries and integrity
- Valid drivers’ license and access to a registered roadworthy and insured vehicle (minimum third-party property)
- Access to a smart phone to be used for work purposes
- Ability to work on weekends if required
