Job description
I am a mature woman in my 60s residing in Greenacres. I am an animal lover, and have a keen eye for fashion, art, and collectibles. I enjoy participating in my local church activities and catching up with friends over coffee.
This role is ideal for someone with life experience, open to building a trusted relationship with me, willing to learn how to best support me, sharing similar interests, and possessing excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include aiding with personal care, assisting with day-to-day tasks and mobility using equipment, helping me maintain a good appearance, and supporting with shopping, cooking, household chores, and caring for my beloved dog.
The suitable candidate has the opportunity to progress to the role of a Key Worker, involving responsibilities like organising staff schedules, handling general administrative tasks, and assisting with guiding my support team.
The working hours are from 8-11 am on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, totalling around 10 hours per week, with additional hours allocated for administrative tasks. Flexibility is highly valued as backup support may be required as requested.
As a CLP employee the role commences at level 2.1 casual rate of $40.26 per hour (penalty rates apply).
Ongoing training and direction will be provided.
