Support Worker

The successful candidate will use their skills and education to act as an extension to the intervention staff and the needs of our residents. The support worker candidate requires proactivity and is comfortable being part of a compassionate, caring team. Hadley Community: Non-for-profit organization in downtown Montreal providing housing and support for individuals who have struggled with homelessness, mental health issues, addictions and PTSD.

Salary: $19.29 – $22.80
Hours: approx. 24 hours (weekend included)
Positions: 1

Responsibilities include the following:
Collaborate and assist the senior workers in supporting the residents
Assist with programs, field trips, accompaniment
Assist with medication distribution
Take calm and appropriate action to inform senior workers to deal with any situation,
Help volunteers and students fulfill their commitment
Program development
