About the Role
As a Support Worker you will provide quality care that caters to the individual support needs of our Members which includes but is not limited to:
- Provide high-quality care
- Personal care (including bowel care)
- Manual Handling (Hoist transfers)
- Light household tasks
- Engage and treat our Member with genuine dignity and respect
- Complete all relevant documentation and reporting as required
Shift days will vary and roster times include:
- Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 9:30am and/or 8:30pm -10:30pm
- Weekends: 8:00am – 10:00am and/or 8:30pm -10:30pm
Requirements
- You must have the right to live and work in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working within the Disability Sector (desirable)
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or similar qualification (desirable)
- Competent IT Skills and a Smart phone (Schedule and Intranet requirements)

Anyone living locally with a background in disability support would be considered highly desirable. Living my way also provides training and on-going support.
