Position Summary:
The incumbent provides day-to-day oversight for tracking and reporting of UCI Health Information Technology Services (ITS) operating and capital expenses, budgets, variances, and projections, including initiating, designing, developing and supporting analytical tools, models, and systems to support the effective management of UCI Health ITS. Develops financial analysis efforts in support of strategic financial initiatives. Provides financial and analytical support for UC Leveraging Scale for Value/Financial Transparency team and other ITS initiatives. Takes initiative to develop and maintain annual data collection efforts for annual surveys and benchmarks that are used by senior UCI Health ITS leadership.

Salary Range:
Annual Rate Minimum $73,900.00 Midpoint $103,800.00 Maximum $133,700.00
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience producing and analyzing detailed financial reports
- Ability to clearly articulate complex information and ideas in writing and verbally
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience.
- Advanced degree in related field
- Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
- Demonstrated skill in financial analysis, planning, and administration of a departmental budget
- Extensive knowledge of finance policies, practices and systems, budgeting and reporting techniques, accounting and bookkeeping.
- Proven ability to deal with changing priorities and direct the work of others accordingly. Ability to multi-task.
- Solid understanding of financial and resource planning concepts as well as how to control organizational budgeting.
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across the organization at all levels.
- General knowledge of accounting principles, procurement, accounts payable and contracting terms.
- Ability to keep up with finance related trends in information technology as well as Health IT
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an Information Technology/Information Services related position.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably academic healthcare preferred.
