Following up the needs and requirements of the most vulnerable families and the major obstacles against normal life for people suffering hard living condition such as female-headed families, disabled persons, children and internally displaced people.
Planning the survey methodology based on project requirements and local regulations.
Analyzing survey data to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
Obtaining necessary permits and approvals for surveying activities
Ensuring that financial aspects of projects are always considered and optimizing the funds allocated for the projects.
Coordinating the project staff to implement approved project.
Liaising with all departments, especially the Training Section (beneficiaries, obtaining permits, and stakeholders)PWJ admin and program departments.
Cooperating with other agencies and local departments in the field, if necessary.
Assisting the project staff in conducting surveys and collecting required data on awarded project.
Evaluating the performance of projects in the assigned project area in close cooperation with the administration unit, taking into consideration the special circumstance for each project.
Assisting in training and development of the project staff, on the technical matters of the project implementation and monitoring.
Making assessments of areas where many vulnerable groups live and submitting reports , considering all needed factors.
Evaluating project to ensure that objectives of the project are achieved in better way and economically.
Attending meetings with other agencies and local authorities.
Overseeing administration, management and operational sections in the project area of responsibility.
Supervising the overall activities of the area office and controlling all the project.
Working closely with project staff, logistic assistant and other national staff, to train and assist them with a view of their performance of their duties efficiently.
Ensuring that materials for projects are up to the required specifications and quantities.
Taking over responsibilities if other field staff are absent.
Supervising on materials distribution to the beneficiaries by the contractor.
Taking photos of the activities when required.
Following up on all activities and other updates via email
Carrying out any other duties as per the needs of the programme.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Knowledge and experience required
3 Years’ experience in project management in NGO/INGO sectors.
Good knowledge and experience in humanitarian field.
Civil Engineering background and experience are considered as added value.
Livelihood especially vocational training background and experience are considered as added value.
Knowledge in Climate Change driven disaster prevention and mitigation are considered as added value.
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Emailing, preferred to have experience with GD system (google sheet, sharing system, and others)
Proficient in written and spoken English and Arabic
Ability to organize tasks simultaneously and prioritize work.
Honest, responsible and in good physical condition to meet the job’s demands.
