CSR Europe is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join the Sustainable Markets and Finance Team in Brussels. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating activities for our members, managing sustainability-related projects, and engaging with external stakeholders on various initiatives. The position involves staying abreast of relevant EU sustainability-related legislation, contributing to research papers, and supporting the development of CSR Europe’s strategic directions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and organize activities for CSR Europe’s members, including online events, workshops, and briefings.
- Coordinate and manage sustainability-related projects from development to implementation, monitoring, governance, and finance.
- Develop and deliver tailored services for companies, including gap analysis, reporting requirements, materiality assessment, and stakeholder dialogue.
- Engage with a diverse group of external stakeholders on sustainability initiatives and developments.
- Stay informed about relevant EU sustainability-related legislation, such as CSRD/ESRS, CS3D, Taxonomy Regulation, and CBCR.
- Prepare research papers and newsletter articles on various sustainability themes and trends.
- Support the development and monitoring of CSR Europe’s strategic directions.
- Master’s degree in a related discipline, such as Sustainability, Finance, Environmental Science, or Business.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate sustainability and ESG.
- Good understanding of sustainability reporting, sustainable finance, stakeholder engagement, and relevant sustainability-related EU regulations and policies (especially CSRD and ESRS).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
- Highly motivated with a passion for sustainability topics.
- Familiarity with the EU decision-making process.
- Language skills: Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of other languages is desirable.
- Research skills: Ability to find relevant information and summarize key points.
- Analytical skills: Proficient in working with data for benchmarks and company assessments.
- Communication skills (verbal and written): Clear and concise communication, adjusting style to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
- Presentation skills: Ability to speak and present concepts publicly.
- Multi-tasking skills: Capacity to rapidly respond to a variety of tasks.
